                 Earth Search, Inc. (ESI) is  headquartered in the Bywater National Historic District of New Orleans, within a few minutes' walk of the French Quarter.  ESI is a full service cultural resources management firm with the professional credentials and twenty-five years experience to serve the needs of a wide range of clients in both the private and public sectors.

                 ESI maintains a full-time, professional staff of archaeologists, historians, and architectural historians with in-depth knowledge of the field of cultural resource management, and has extensive experience with intensive cultural resource surveys, NRHP evaluations, archaeological data recovery, HABS and HAER documentation, construction monitoring, archival research, informant interviews, and Section 106 documentation.  We have in-house capabilities in archaeology, historic preservation, history, marine archaeology, zooarchaeology, bioarchaeology, ethnography, and cultural anthropology.

                 The ESI staff includes ten Project Managers, whom are Registered Professional Archaeologists, and six Assistant Project Managers.  Currently, there are eleven professional archaeologists (Cultural Resources Research Assistants) on ESI's permanent staff.  Of ESI staff, eight are OSHA HAZWOPER certified, five have taken the NEPA and Transportation training course, and ten have taken Section 106 training courses.  Our diverse staff have extensive experience in all phases of archaeological site identification, investigation, evaluation, data recovery and mitigation in multiple regions of the United States and abroad, and are sufficient in number to manage multiple large-scale and complex task orders. We particularly pride ourselves on our attention to the scheduling requirements of our clients, and make every effort to exceed client expectations on all projects, no matter the size.

ESI is a certified DBE/WBE with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, the Mississippi Department of Transportation, the Alabama Department of Transportation, and the New Jersey Department of Transportation.  In addition, ESI is a certified HUBZone firm.

ESI is also a certified Woman Owned Business Enterprise (WBE)/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE).  The firm is a member the American Cultural Resources Association (ACRA).
